Grounded Grace: Modern Villa Interiors in Sarjapur, Bangalore

Grounded Grace is a completed 3,000 sq ft villa interior design project for Chaintanya Vineeta in Sarjapur, Bangalore. The brief was to create a calm, considered home without accent walls, clashing textures, or unnecessary decoration. The goal was to keep the interiors restrained without making the home feel bare, allowing every material and furniture piece to have a clear purpose.

The material palette stays within clay, sand, and off-white tones, with texture adding depth. Textured lime plaster replaces conventional paint, while warm greige matte tiles run through the living and dining areas. The bedrooms shift to lighter oak flooring to distinguish the private spaces.

Furniture is kept minimal, with a sectional and stone-topped coffee table anchoring the living room. A wall-length storage unit keeps everyday items organised while maintaining an open floor area. Indirect lighting through ceiling cove lighting and selected sculptural pendants keeps the interiors soft and uncluttered. The primary bedroom continues the same approach with an upholstered platform bed, minimal bedside joinery, and a matte-finish walk-in wardrobe.
